Comment- In 2007 Josh came to Brisbane from Mackay hoping to play Colts with the Redcliffe Dolphins. He exceeded the expectations of the Club having a highly successful year, going on to play a curtain raiser before the 1st State of Origin in the Qld U19 team. He then graduated to A grade playing 4 Wizard Cup games with the premiership favourites at the end of the season. A strong athletic fullback or 5/8 Josh featured prominently in the try scoring lists and was so impressive, he was signed by the Brisbane Broncos for the inaugural NRL under 20 side. He made such an impact with the Club, he played 2 NRL games and signed with the Broncos NRL team for 2 more years. After overcoming a shoulder reconstruction in 2009, 2010 was a big year for Josh as he consolidated the fullback spot and was the youngest player to win the Paul Morgan medal for the Broncos Player of the year. Josh has signed a further 2 year deal until the end of 2012. Read below Josh’s likes & dislikes.
