HISTORY: Born in Sydney, Alex played tighthead for the Australian U21’s in 2005 where they were  runners up to South Africa in the World Cup. He was offered the chance to play for Otley in the UK National Division 1 and moved to the Leeds club. After an outstanding season he was offered a trial as a hooker at Saracens. After 3 years at the London Club, he had developed into an exciting prospect in the No 2 jersey and this season, signed with the Newcastle Falcons on a 1 year deal. A highly accurate linout thrower, Alex is an extremely mobile player with a very sharp burst of speed. His experience at tighthead means he is also an excellent scrummager. Alex recently picked up a hat-trick for the Newcastle Falcons against Cardiff. He has both a UK & Australian passport.
