Paul Hogan
Paul was born in Brisbane in 1959 & attended St Laurence’s College at South Brisbane from grades 4 to Grade 12 and is a former past President of the St Laurence’s Oldboys Association.
He was the secretary of the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service in 1979 & 1980 and was a senior member of the committee of the Coolangatta Surf Club.
He played A grade Rugby League & Rugby Union in a career spanning 13 years and is now accredited with the ARU & NRL as a Player Manager. He is the Managing Director of Catalyst Sports Management and is a level 2 Rugby Coach and level 1 Referee.
He is a director of Alpha Investigations Pty Ltd, where he is a Licensed Commercial Agent. He is also the Principal of Hogan Bloodstock a business dedicated to racing & breeding racehorses.
He joined Catalyst in late 2001 while still playing and coaching at Easts. He has coached at St Laurences College and is now coaching at Brisbane BoysCollege a prominent GPS school in Queensland. He is a licensed auctioneer of note & takes part in or conducts many functions to assist in raising money for a range of Charities. For 25 years Paul has lived in the inner-city Brisbane suburb of Fairfield with his wife of Michelle and his son Matthew who also attends St Laurence’s College.
